Community Nursery Open Day - celebrating 20 years!

Lane Cove’s Community Nursery is turning 20! Join us for a special celebration with fun activities and give-aways :

· Native bee musical show - SHOW TIMES 10:20am and 11:20am

· Live frogs and insects and interactive fun in our Little Creature House

· Kids activities including bug hunts and nature craft with Lane Cove Bush Kids

· View native bees and a worm farm/compost demonstration

· Get expert gardening advice on native plants, weed ID and removal, growing edible plants and a chance at winning great garden prizes!

· Take home a free native seedling, grown by our volunteers.

Don't miss a great opportunity to explore your local Community Nursery, find out about the award-winning Backyard Habitat program (free for Lane Cove residents), chat about gardening topics with local experts, plus discover more about local wildlife, particularly our frogs and invertebrates.

Free entry. Access is from the lower gate at Lloyd Rees Drive, Lane Cove West via a short bush track. Parking available at Blackman Park Sportsfields.
