What’s On for Seniors this month?
The month of October will see a range of programs to honour, celebrate and support the seniors in Lane Cove, starting with 1 October, International Day of Older Persons.
Reconnect-Seniors Social Wellness Program
Our Reconnect-Seniors Social Wellness Program is a great way to stay connected for over 55’s. We’ve partnered with local community providers on a range of activities, every Wednesday for 4 weeks from 9 October during Mental Health Month, at the Living and Learning Centre.

Grandparents Day Scrabble
Lane Cove Library’s Scrabble session in celebration of Grandparents Day on 24 October 3:30pm to 5:00pm promises extra special fun! You’ll have the chance to pick the brains of masters of the game from NSW Scrabble Association who’ll share pointers for forming winning words. Senior Men's Cooking
Connect with other older men in the Lane Cove community in our Senior Men’s Cooking Sessions at the Living and Learning Centre. You’re bound to be eating very well at home with a few new recipes in your repertoire. Enjoy the mateship, slicing, dicing, grilling and baking your way to building confidence in your kitchen skills.
