Lane Cove Council is proud to serve the local community by providing excellent service and care. As the level of government closest to communities, councils are best placed to activate healthy local economies and thriving neighbourhoods.

Partnerships across all levels of government can help NSW build back better in the wake of bushfires, floods, and the costof-living crisis.

Local Government Week celebrates the range and diversity of services councils offer the community: everything from community events, childcare centres, libraries, sports fields, parks, and cemeteries, to food safety checks, building and development and pet registration.
