Council is running two donation drives this Christmas. Our Trees of Joy collects gifts to be distributed to local families in need in collaboration with Delvena Women & Children’s Refuge and Catholic Care. We are also a collection point for donations to Share the Dignity, an organisation that donates bags full of essential and personal items to women and girls spending Christmas in a domestic violence refuge or homelessness shelter.
We hope you will give back this Christmas and donate unwrapped gifts for one of these worthy causes between Wednesday 12 November and Friday 5 December.
Gifts for children and teenagers of all ages can be donated, and you can even collect a gift tag for inspiration from any tree location.

It’s in the Bag is their annual Christmas campaign that encourages everyday Australians to fill a bag (teen, adult, or mum & bub bag) with essential items such as period products and toiletries.
