O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, how do I dispose of thee?

Council is offering Lane Cove residents the opportunity to have their live Christmas trees chipped for free from Wednesday 7 January – Thursday 15 January 2026.

The drop-off area is near the skate ramp area of Blackman Park, Lloyd Rees Drive, Lane Cove West – please do not enter the Depot area or leave trees at the gates to the Depot; it is illegal to dump trees and they should only be left at the concrete slab area signposted further along Lloyd Rees Drive on the right hand side.

Please be prepared to produce your proof of residence when dropping off your tree for this free service.
