Council contractors will be spraying playing fields at two locations this Tuesday 25 August 2026.
Spraying will start at 9:00am and will remain closed until the foliage has dried.
The sprays being used are Barricade Turf Herbicide(PDF, 154KB) and Acelpryn Turf Insecticide(PDF, 166KB).
Notification signs will be placed at the entry points to the ovals today. Please follow on-site signage and do not use the area while spraying is in progress. Council will keep the oval closed whilst the chemical application dries on the leaf and takes effect.
As the oval will be closed, dogs are also not permitted on the field during this time.
