Stand-alone houses can use their maroon lid food waste bin every week on their normal bin day. All other waste services remain the same. Visit lanecove.nsw.gov.au/foodwaste for details.

The months ahead offer many opportunities for connection and celebration within our Lane Cove community.
This month, we are proud to bring to life the Seniors Festival once again, celebrating the contributions, experiences and achievements of our senior community members. Council has teamed up with local community groups and experts to deliver more than 30 events across the entire month of March, all centred around this year's theme of "Live Life in Colour."
Nominations are also open for the Citizenship Awards, providing an opportunity to acknowledge the individuals and groups who go above and beyond to support our local community.
We will also mark International Women's Day with a range of meaningful and inclusive events. From thought-provoking presentations and networking to art and entertainment, these events celebrate the achievements of women while continuing important conversations about equality and inclusion.
Finally, I would like to thank residents for their ongoing participation in Council's Food Waste service. By reducing waste and diverting food scraps from landfill, we are all playing a part in supporting a more sustainable Lane Cove for generations to come.
Council Meeting
