Sustainability Lane is a fun, family event promoting sustainability and eco-friendly lifestyle ideas for the whole community to come and enjoy. Visit The Canopy from 9:00am - 4:00pm to:

• see the electric vehicles on display
• view the reptile show
• ask our experts about reducing energy costs and how to live more sustainably
• win prizes
• hear from community organisations and
• take home free native seedlings

There's something for everyone! The event is run in conjunction with Lane Cove Rotary Fair and over 15,000 people attended the event last year.

Road Closures 

To facilitate this exciting annual event, temporary road closures will be in place from 6:00am until 6:00pm around the Lane Cove shopping plaza on Sunday 13 October at:

• Longueville Road – between Birdwood Avenue and Austin Street
• Central Avenue – between Pottery Lane and
• Longueville Road Birdwood Lane – between Birdwood Avenue and Rosenthal Ave (access will only be provided to properties along Birdwood Lane)

There will be no vehicle access for the duration of the event.

Changes to bus routes

• Bus Route 254 inbound service will be diverted from Epping Road via Phoenix Street and Dorritt Street to Longueville Road
• Bus Route 254 outbound service will be diverted to Tambourine Bay Road, Coxs Lane, Birdwood Avenue and Longueville Road.
