Let’s explore the fascinating world of fungi on this guided walk! From large woody fruiting bodies found on trees to delicate mushrooms popping out of the earth, we’ll take a closer look at local fungi species and discover why they are so important for our forests and animals.
Our guide ecologist Sofia Zvolanek will also explain how to use iNaturalist as a tool to not just identify fungi, but to contribute valuable scientific data towards the study of the mysterious fungi kingdom.
Please note this is NOT a foraging mushroom walk; we will not be identifying edible mushrooms/fungi on this activity.
