North Sydney – Lane Cove Dads Group

Fathers and father figures in the community are invited to join a free monthly group designed to help navigate the challenges of parenting and build stronger relationships with their children.

The group is open to dads, grandfathers, uncles and carers of children from infancy through to the teenage years. Sessions combine research-based parenting advice with open discussion, providing an opportunity to share experiences, challenges and practical support.

Each session includes a 20-minute presentation on a parenting topic, followed by an open floor for discussion and reflection.

Topics will include understanding children, building emotional intelligence, reducing stress, raising resilient children and adapting parenting approaches as children grow. 

The group is facilitated by The Fathering Project, a not-for-profit organisation focused on encouraging positive fathering and greater engagement between fathers and their children.

Free to attend, but registrations are essential.
