Kids & Youth

The Lane Cove Children's Library is a vibrant welcoming environment that provides reading and study spaces for children and their carers. 

There is a dedicated Youth room which includes study tables, lounges and young adult collections.

Collections include picture books, fiction, non fiction, graphic novels, DVDs audiobooks, Online Resources and magazines.

Reading Challenge - 1000 Books Before School

1000 Books Before School runs throughout the year for preschoolers

Register at the library or participate online or with the BeanstackApp to log the books you read. Each time you reach a milestone, bring your email confirmation, or reading log, into Lane Cove Library, Greenwich Library, St Leonards Library or THE YARN, Hunters Hill to receive a prize.

All books count towards the final total, including books borrowed from the library, e-books read online, audio books, books listened to at storytime, or shared by family and friends.
