Council contractors will be spraying playing fields at four locations this Tuesday 25 November 2025.

  • Pottery Green Oval
  • Tantallon Oval
  • Kingsford Smith Oval
  • Blackman B3 & B4 Oval

All playing fields will be closed for the day. 

The sprays being used are Tirem 200 SC Insecticide and Venom Professional 100SC Insecticide

Notification signs will be placed at the entry points to the ovals the day prior. Please follow on-site signage and do not use the area while spraying is in progress. Council will keep the oval closed whilst the chemical application dries on the leaf and takes effect.

As the oval will be closed, dogs are also not permitted on the field during this time.

We are aware that our open spaces are important places for locals and are doing our best to minimise the disruption while this process is carried out. Thank you for your patience.
