Return and Earn - Public Bin Baskets

To help keep eligible containers out of litter bins and make it easier for people to collect them, Council has installed 20 Return and Earn bin baskets on public place litter bins across the Lane Cove area.

The baskets are attached to Council bins at high-traffic areas to enable people to leave their drink containers for someone else to collect. Residents or community groups can easily collect the containers from the bin baskets to recycle at a nearby Return and Earn collection point for the 10c refund.

Bin baskets can be found at Bob Campbell Oval, Tambourine Bay Reserve, Wadangarri park, Blackman Park, Yorks Corner, Mindarie Park, Burns Bay Rd (outside the IGA), Pottery Green, Central Park, Stringybark Reserve, Hughes Park, and Little St (in front of Council).
